The project consists of construction of one facility and demolition of six facilities. Facility 1: Construction will be a two-story 9,000 square foot (approximately) Troop Quarters. Construction will consist of a concrete slab on grade with footings, load-bearing steel-reinforced concrete block unit structure, cast-in-place concrete flooring, architectural brick veneer, metal stud with gypsum non-load bearing w alls, and cast-in-place concrete roof slabs. Utilities and support facilities include fire protection, communications, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system (HVAC), water, electric power, sanitary and storm drainage systems, concrete parking, access roadways, concrete curb-and-gutter, an irrigation system and landscaping. Facilities 2-7: Demolition of six facilities totaling approximately 12,300 square foot. Demolition will include removal of existing concrete slab on grade with foo tings, wood stud (interior) and concrete masonry unit (exterior) walls, wood trusses, and sloped shingled/standing seam metal roofing. . Design and construction shall comply with the specifications and requirements contained in the RFP. The estimated price range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This procurement is being solicited using the two-phase design build selection procedures authorized by FAR 36.3.
