Cokeville Meadows Asbestos Removal and Demolition

The project includes: A. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to remove all asbestos containing material (ACM) from the Thornock Residence on the Cokeville Meadows NWR. There is approximately 3,883 SF of gypsum board on all walls and ceilings in the residence. Also to be removed is approximately ten lineal feet of duct tape in the Basement. B. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment required to remove one existing 1000 gallon underground fuel tank and open top Dip Tank and standing water (tank is about half full) and dispose of the fuel tank, residual fuel, and dip tank water to an approved site as required by the State of Wyoming and all requirements of same. C. Provide all certification, labor, materials, and equipment required to evaluate the existing Septic System capability where shown on the project job Site Plan Drawing, to include but not limited to, the septic tank and leach field piping and Percolation capability to ascertain if the existing Septic System's gallons per day (GPD) water absorption capability to be adequate for the project site complex, which should have a minimum of 250 GPD on a regular daily basis of waste water absorption. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The site of the work is at Cokeville Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. To visit the site, travel approximately 22 miles west from Kemmeier, Wyoming on State Hwy 30, then bear to the right at Sage Junction, and then go approximately 10 to 12 miles north from Sage Junction on State Hwy 30 to the Cokeville Meadows NWR Complex, located on the left or west side of the highway. B. Contractors are encouraged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions and equipment. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 45 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Full and Open. The NAICS code is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, and the size standard is $13 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about August 3, 2007 with an anticipated closing date of August 24, 2007. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at Federal Business Opportunity, or at IDEAS Business Solutions, once available for issuance.
