San Diego Unified Port District: DEMOLITION OF FORMER ANTHONY'S RESTAURANT AND PLATFORM. The Work Includes: 1. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment as necessary to complete the Demolition of Anthony�s Restaurant and Platform, San Diego, CA as shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications. 2. The project includes the demolition and removal of the existing structural components and installation of temporary improvements. Demolition will involve the removal of: a. 24,855-square-foot building (superstructure) b. 23,285-square-foot platform (substructure) c. Prestressed 16-inch diameter concrete and 24-inch concrete filled steel support piles and dock guide piles d. Submerged remnants of the 565-square-foot dock 3. Contractor is responsible to protect all the existing utilities in place. Contractor shall repair any damages caused by construction at its own cost and expense. 4. All demolition and removal shall be performed over water using crane equipped barges. Contractor can arrange for offload of materials to trucks at SDUPD Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal (TAMT). The available temporary area will be 60�x300� at Berth 10-2 of TAMT, Wednesday to Saturday. This location and location are subject to change per marine operations at the terminal. No storage and stockpiling are allowed. 5. It is intended that the work be complete in every respect under the Contract Documents, including but not limited to testing, start-up, commissioning, training and completion of punch list activities, and such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Contract Documents to be furnished, performed, placed, constructed, or installed by Contractor. The total contract duration is 120 calendar days. The Engineers Construction estimate for this work is $1,504,39
