Good luck with a project like that being new to the game... Be prepared to be in shock when you see companies pay to do it! What else is involved with the job how big what was it, etc.......

why don't you contact more scrap dealers directly? We always check with 3-4 companies and sell to the one paying the best.
The scrap prices are also dependent on the quality, size, type etc.

Hello,

Brand new here and brand new to demolition. I have a project I am bidding on. It is a sizeable project and is in the US. I have done some research on scrap sale of ferrous and non ferrous, but, as demolition experts that you are, and sale of demolished materials is pure gravy after labor and equipment costs are covered, and considering market value, what range would the following items expect to yield from sale to a scrapper (I have rates from one, I would like to check for comparison):

Scrap iron per ton (approx 5000t)
Copper (industrial insulation and approx 150,000lb)
Stainless Steel (approx 150,000lb)

Following up, if I am successful in bid award, where would I find operators and experienced scrap persons for a 6 mth project?

This is a legitimate post.

Thanks,
