This is a fast track job with every trade running up each others back plus because it is a Brownfields site the city and state are involved.. It is a big site so of course, they want to start construction on the part of the plant currently occupied by structures rather than the portion which is vacant.

I am still waiting on the program name. But it sounds the same as the one you are looking at. I do remember it was very easy and it did same a lot of time and paperwork. The nice part about it being shared with the other team members, as ours was too, everything was in front of you. We had a problem with one of the "team" members, who said that we were in is way for him to do something, well with the documentation that he submitted he wasn't even near us. Of course he was behind and trying to get extra monies.

They want all correspondence, drawings etc. to be shared with all the "team" members. Some of the stuff they are looking for is under the heading "Too Much Information". They did send me a link to a website with all the preloaded Autocad symbols if you are interested. I don't know how much CAD you do but it looks like it will save a bunch of time.

Do you guys have any experience with this? Pros? Cons? The reason I ask, is that I have to submit my Best and Final Offer (BAFO) on a big project and they sent an addendenum which has a line item for this. Most Owners/GC's treat the demolition contractor like a "Bastard Child" because a lot of time in the general order of magnitude the demolition costs are a drop in the bucket.
In this case it is a 1,100 acre Brownfield site and the construction is fast track so the Demo is key. It is a 3 year program.
