A new member has taken it upon themselves to send unsolicited private messages using our forums system.

I was made aware of it first thing this morning and actions have been taken against this member and you will not receive anymore from them.

Unfortunately these things do happen and really the only way to combat it, is to either turn off the PM system or to place a restriction on it that only members that have made a certain amount of post or time here can use the system.

I guess this is a reminder to everyone, that the Private Message system has the same rules as the main forum themselves. The private message system is not a place for you to send out unsolicited advertisements, to spam or to attack other members.
