Contract Superintendent opening for a large General Contractor based in Chicago, IL.
Directing and overseeing all daily activities of the job-site.
Managing subcontractors and labor.
Identifying and reporting problems or deficiencies to the Project Manager.
Implementing all safety policies and quality programs.
Document on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance.
Review change orders and subcontract agreements with the PM prior to execution.
Assist in preparation of project status reports, including providing status and photos weekly.
Maintaining open communication with the Owner's Rep by coordinating work activities, attending project progress/scheduling meetings
Project: Commercial interior demolition & concrete construction
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00PM - 7:00AM
This position is a contract, however, candidates will be considered for permanent positions through demonstration of proven job stability, experience with the same types of projects and markets that the role requires, willingness to travel/relocate and/or work nights.
