We are a environmental consulting firm working with a wide range of land developers and general contractors in the Houston, TX market. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to estimate multiple projects, including change orders, etc. Our Estimators must know how to communicate effectively and must also have excellent customer service skills.
What You Will Be Doing- Ability to read blue prints
- Extreme attention to detail
- Able to write and read scope of work
- Ability to anticipate trades that are left off a scope, based on experience in the industry
- Able to work under tight schedules and extreme pressure
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proven track record of successful awarded jobs
- Highly organized
What You Need for this Position3+ years experience as an estimator working heavy civil, excavation, utilities and sitework projects
Experience with take-offs
Experience working on projects over $25,000
