This superintendent will be jumping from job site to job site to support several Tenant Improvement, projects valued between $250K-$600K.
-Ability to Read Blue Prints
-2-8 direct field experience managing subcontractors for commercial construction projects
-Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office Programs
-Manage 3-4 week look ahead schedules
-Multifamily housing tenant improvement/expansion/remodel in the city
-$12,000 Sq Ft Behavioral Health Clinic in Oak Brook
-20,000 Sq Ft Demolition project in the suburbs
The superintendent will be responsible for:
-Managing the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activity.
-Identifying and reporting problems or deficiencies to the Project Manager.
-Documenting on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirements.
-Maintaining daily log of build-out progress
-Coordinating all construction project activities and services across construction team
-Creating and managing a strict build-out schedule, ensuring milestones are reached and deadlines are met
-Updating landlords and tenants on build-out progress throughout project
-Implement all safety policies and quality programs, ensuring strong performance on safety audits.
-Assist in preparation of project status reports. Provide status and photos weekly.
-Maintain open communication and goodwill with the Owner's representative by coordinating pertinent work activities, attending project progress/scheduling meetings and by understanding the client's expectations.
