Concrete Worker/ Masonry
One of Aerotek's clients is hiring for concrete laborers, masons, and caulkers to their growing team. The client specializes in concrete restoration and works locally throughout Washington, Dc and Maryland.
Positions are open for laborers which includes demolition work, assisting in concrete restoration, general site clean up, and helping to mix/pour concrete
Positions are also open for masons which require 1 years of masonry/brick laying experience. In addition, the client is in need of professional caulkers.
For the 1st phase the concrete workers will be performing demolition (removing the concrete) and replacing the concrete. They will be taking 2 inches of concrete off and adding 4 inches of concrete to stabilize and strengthen the infrastructure. They will do this for every piece of concrete on the building.
The 2nd phase of the project will consist of going top to bottom and coating all the concrete. Job duties do differ depending on role (laborer, caulker, mason,ect.)
- Must have reliable transportation and be open to commuting to job sites throughout the DMV
- Must be willing to submit to a drug and background check
- Must be familiar with general construciton safety regulations.
